Mini Golf and Some Beach Time

Had breakfast at Eggs Up before heading to play miniature golf. We had planned this stop in Myrtle Beach a few years ago specifically to try some of their elaborate mini golf courses. Will read that Myrtle Beach was the mini golf capital of the world in a book and has wanted to visit ever since. Our first course was Mt. Atlanticus. They are clearly serious about their mini golf here - their mini golf courses are complete with cutouts for different hole locations. Christy and I ended up tying for the win and all for of us had at least one home in one (Christy-4, Ryan-3, William-2, Jessi-1). After golf we hit the grocery store for some snacks before heading to the beach. We had only been on the beach for about 30 minutes before it started raining pretty good. We took cover at a nearby bar and grill and the rain quickly stopped. After a few drinks we went back on the beach and built a sandcastle and took a swim in the ocean (warm!) before it started raining again.... even harder this time. We went back to the hotel for a swim and a shower before going to dinner on the boardwalk at Moe Moons. Finished off the day with ice cream and a walk down the boardwalk.
