Epcot and Magic Kingdom

Slept in til 9:30ish and took the monorail from the transportation and ticketing center to Epcot. We didn't have much cloud cover until later in the afternoon and the direct sun was HOT! We took in a few rides in the Nemo area before heading to the World Showcase to eat lunch. We ate with the kids first in the China area. They both liked their food well enough though Will quickly proclaimed that Panda Express was better. ;-) We then backtracked a bit to the Mexico area. Christy and I had beef tacos, chips, guacamole, Dos Equis and a margarita on the rocks. After lunch we kept making or way around the world showcase area making stops in the Mexico area for the Three Caballeros boat ride, Norway for the Maelstrom boat ride, and Germany, Italy and France just because. Will found a place where Disney had setup a little soccer area and played there for 30 minutes or so... until his face was red from the heat. He also got drawn in by the miniature trains (shocking) in the German area. By the time we made it to the United Kingdom area around 6pm, we had some huge thunderstorms roll in. Christy and Jessi quickly got a photo with Pooh and Tigger and then we nearly ran to an indoor area outside the World Showcase area. For the first time during our stay in Orlando the thunderstorms didn't roll out quickly. The thunder, lightening, and heavy rain stuck around until around 8:30. Then we had light, annoying, Oregon-like rain until nearly 10:30. We still managed to get back to the rest of the countries and get in the Spaceship Earth ride (inside the giant golf ball looking thing). By 9pm, we had boarded the monorail back to the TTC where we caught the other monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Christy and Jessi did some shopping in the Emporium (again,  kind of an odd experience since it's in the same location as the Disneyland Emporium but looks totally different inside). We caught a fireworks show, did a few more rides,  and called it a night at midnight when the park closed. Kids crashed within 10 minutes of getting into bed.
