Buffet breakfast in the hotel and a stop at the post office for postcards stamps and then we headed to Blizzard Beach to get in the water. It was HOT when we got to the park around 12:30. Kids were brave again and did several slides with very few reservations and ended up loving just about every ride they did. If I had a nickel for every time Jessi said, "That was awesome!"...... Will also gravitated to the "balancing on ice while holding onto an overhead rope net" thingy. Of course, Jessi had to eventually try that challenge as well. By 5pm, we had some thunderstorm activity roll in and they shut down all the water areas. They remained shutdown for about 20 minutes, opened up for 15 minutes (just long enough for us to walk back up the stairs and get in line for a slide), and then shutdown again. After about 20 more minutes, they re-opened everything for good. We had one good 30 minute downpour around 6:30 that chased even more people out to the point that the lines for everything were almost non-existent. We left around 7:30, got a quick burger at Fuddruckers down the street from the hotel and headed back to the lovely Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista.
I love that last pic the best! So sweet!
