Breakfast at Starbucks in the hotel followed by walking to the Rock Hall just down 9th St from us. You could spend a lot more time than we did reading everything and watching every video but we still got to see quite a bit in 3 1/2 hrs considering we were visiting with 2 kids who had nearly zero interest in the exhibits. After visiting the main exhibit hall on the lower level, we took a break for some lunch on the 3rd floor balcony overlooking 9th St pier and Lake Erie. We were back at the hotel by 4:30 in time for the kids to swim before heading to Progressive Field for the Indians/Reds game. On the way to the game we stopped at Panini's and the Thirsty Parrot for food and drinks. We met a couple nice ladies, Donna &Barb, from Cleveland at Panini's. We ended up running into them twice inside the park....pretty funny. Progressive Field has a good vibe. It feels a little bit like a really big Spring Training Park partly because it's a bit older than most parks. The food and drinks are muuuuch cheaper which was a good surprise. We ended up watching most of the game from beyond right field on the 2nd deck next to the kids area. Jessi and Will played un the kids field area for most of the game right next to where we were sitting.... convenient! We walked back to the hotel before 10:30.
