Franklin and Dinner at Steph's

Slow start after a late night. We picked up Shawn and the kids and drove 15 minutes to Franklin, a cool older town with more restaurants and shops. First order of business was getting some new sandals for myself since my old ones broke at the end of the previous night. We had lunch (brisket tacos and guacamole) at 55 South on Main St. The girls did a little more shopping and we went back to the hotel for a nap and some swimming. Around 5:30 we headed over to Steph's house for dinner. She and Christy picked up some pulled pork and brisket from a nearby BBQ place (I didn't catch the name, dang). Again, good barbecue. The sauces from the BBQ joint were a little more spicy than usual but still so good. Shawn was sweating from the heat. After dinner we got in a round of Liar's Dice and the kids had a blast playing hide and seek with Libby. She was so good with the kids. We headed back to the hotel shortly before 10pm. Not a lot of pictures today. :-(
