Oklahoma Joes and Lego Discovery Center

Breakfast at Big Momma's Bakery (cinnamon rolls for Will) and Einstein Bros for the rest of us in Crown Center just a block from the hotel. We stopped by the Crayola Store (apparently one of 2 such stores in existence) and a few other stores before driving 15 minutes to Oklahoma Joe's BBQ. (It's actually in Kansas). The line was outside the building and around the corner when we arrived at 1:45. Kids managed very well considering. Christy and I took turns standing in line and sitting in the car with the kids for the 90 or so minute wait. Food was fantastic...if any food is worth a 90 min wait, I guess this was it. Hard to say it was better than every other Q we have tried this trip. La Barbecue in Austin is also up there. After lunch we drove back to the hotel and walked back to the other part of Crown Center which houses the Lego Discovery Center. Unfortunately,  we had to wait another hour to get in. The Lego Discovery Centers are a tiny version of Legoland. They have 5 or 6 areas where the kids can play including an area to build and race cars....which William just happens to looooove. Once he saw there was a Lego car racing place in KC, he wouldn't stop asking about it. He named the car in the picture, the Titan. :-) We got into the Lego place around 5:15 and left just before 8pm to take a swim at the hotel and call it a day.
