New York City to State College, PA

Went into full packing mode as soon as we woke up (around 10:30). We made one quick shopping trip to Times Sq before checking out of the hotel. Made the 4-5 block walk to pier 79 and caught the Ferry back to New Jersey. Loaded up the car and we were on the road at about 2pm. We originally planned to drive to Cleveland but changed plans in order to break up the drive into 4 hr chunks and to get the opportunity to visit the Penn St. campus. We stopped for bite in Bloomsburg, PA at the local Cracker Barrel restaurant (kids' choice so they could play on their checkers tables). We arrived in State College around 7pm and checked into our hotel (Atherton Hotel on Atherton St) just across the street from the Penn St. campus. After a little time in the room we started a few loads of laundry in the laundromat behind tge hotel and then walked down Atherton St which seems to be the most active street for the school. The kids got some noodles from Noodles & Co before we stopped in at The Corner Room for a few beers and a sandwich. We tended to our laundry and we're back in the room around 10pm. No pictures today, unfortunately.
